While I agree that some of the colored, single-word ones are ridiculous, you clearly have missed the point of reCAPTCHA. If you cannot decipher the CAPTCHA, just request a new one. At least one of the words being difficult to read is the nature of the beast. I suggest you use it for your own blog and thus foster some good work.
